British Empire Medal

I am pleased to announce that King Charles III has approved my award to receive the British Empire (BEM) in the 2023 New Year Honours List.

This recommendation was made to the Prime Minister on the advice of the independent Main Honours Committee for my efforts and contributions to help, inform and support the needs of communities in the UK as well as communities which form part of our Commonwealth.

It was an absolute shock and surprise to receive this award in recognition of my contribution to supporting individuals, groups and organisations for over 35 years, I am truly humbled.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has pushed, pulled, supported, encouraged me, and also to those who have donated to the many causes that I have been working on.

I pray that I can continue to serve communities near and far with the same God given passion, determination and grace.
